ECONOMIC GROWTH AND RESILIENCY
Brandon actively supports working-class families, advocating for federal funding to stabilize Hawaiʻi’s economy during the pandemic. He remains committed to rejuvenating our economy and supporting local businesses. He will fight for the betterment of our community.
CRIME
Public safety is key to any healthy community. As Vice Chair of the Committee on Public Safety and Intergovernmental and Military Affairs (PSM), Brandon pushed for tough, creative solutions to tackle the concerning waves of crime sweeping through our neighborhoods, such as harsher penalties for criminals and recurrent violent offenders.
MORE HOUSING
Brandon is dedicated to increasing affordable housing and essential services for homeless families. While in office, he supported teacher housing and transit-oriented development funding. Brandon supports the homeless outreach navigation center and will continue to prioritize solutions for those without stable housing.
INVEST IN OUR SCHOOLS
The youth of Hawai’i, our keiki, hold the key to our state’s future. As a product of public schools and a former teacher, Brandon understands the significance of acquiring a high-quality education. Ensuring the advancement of our schools and equipping our educators with the necessary tools and resources to empower our keiki’s success are among his foremost priorities. Brandon is committed to making substantial investments in education and shaping a prosperous future for Hawai’i.
PUBLIC HEALTH AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Recent events have shown us the value of strong public health systems and infrastructure. Brandon consistently advocates for clean energy investments that stimulate our economy and create a sustainable future. By prioritizing these initiatives, we build a healthier, cleaner, and more resilient society for the future.
KUPUNA SERVICES
Quality of life as we age is a universal concern. Brandon will continue to enhance the health and happiness of our kupuna (elders) through his support of social outreach and essential services. He is committed to promoting initiatives that foster their welfare, connection, and safety. He will ensure this valued population has access to the necessary resources to lead fulfilling lives.
